"Van de(n) Heuvel" (hill)
"Van de(r) Berg" (mountain or pile)
"Van Donk / Zanddonk" (a dry rise in a marsh/moor)
Those are pretty common last names.
"den" en "der" are old Dutch, it sounds a bit more distinguished.
Nothing wrong with "De Groot" or "De Lange" unless your first name is Dick.
